Lowe's is not enforcing the Marion County mask policy for COVID-19 that is mandated currently. They are focused on customer service. Customers are walking in the store without being asked to wear a mask. It says they are allowed to provide a mask if asked for one, but they will not ask customers to wear one. It stated that this was company policy enforced by higher ups and that they would not speak to customers about that policy. The law exists to protect employees and customers from a deadly virus. There is a clear danger to both groups. In a brief 15 minute period, I saw 14 customers without masks and 3 employees with masks on their chins. Customers were walking in, around and out of the store without being asked to wear a mask. This was on July 9th.
