1. Employees who work on 9 south which is a COVID unit, are not being properly fit tested for an N95. We were told to put the mask on and ¿breathe out¿ and check for air leaks. Employee health said that they do not have the bitter spray so that¿s all they can do. A new employee on a non-COVID floor said she was fit tested the same way. That is a hazard to our health working on a COVID unit not knowing if the N95 fits properly. The educator was contacted and she stated that they are not doing the actual fit test and only the test that I spoke about above.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-07-13
