Janitorial workers in the Pennzoil Place North Tower and Pennzoil Place South Tower are exposed to hazards when: 1. The employer fails to provide hand protection in adequate sizes to employees and only provides the worker one pair of disposable gloves per shift. The gloves provided are ill-fitting, poor quality, and easily tear/rip. This exposes workers hands to chemical and biological hazards. 2. The employer requires workers to wear face masks during their shifts, but has refused to provide the masks to protect against transmittal of the virus that causes COVID-19. 3. The employer has not implemented a program/policies to protect workers against transmittal of the virus that causes COVID-19.
