Approximately 30 employees are exposed to chemical hazards, in that the employer has not developed and implemented a written hazard communication program for employees who dilute corrosive Virex II 256 for use in disinfecting SARS-CoV-2 contaminated surfaces where the automatic dilution station has stopped working. Location: Chemical Closet 2. Approximately 30 employees are exposed to chemical hazards, in that the employer has not provided chemical hazard communication training for employees who dilute corrosive Virex II 256 for use in disinfecting SARS-CoV-2 contaminated surfaces where the automatic dilution station has stopped working. Location: Chemical Closet 3. Approximately 30 employees are exposed to chemical hazards, in that the employer does not maintain safety data sheets for cleaning, sanitation and disinfecting chemicals including, but not limited to, corrosive Virex II 256 which is diluted by employees and used in disinfecting SARS-CoV-2 contaminated surfaces. Location: Chemical Closet 4. Approximately 30 employees are exposed to chemical hazards, in that the employer has not provided emergency means for flushing the eyes and body to employees who dilute corrosive Virex II 256 for use in disinfecting SARS-CoV-2 contaminated surfaces where the automatic dilution station has stopped working. Location: Chemical Closet 5. Approximately 30 employees are exposed to chemical hazards, in that the employer has not provided personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, chemical splash goggles and chemical protective gloves for employees who dilute corrosive Virex II 256 for use in disinfecting SARS-CoV-2 contaminated surfaces where the automatic dilution station has stopped working.
