5 years ago business

1945 New Jersey 33, Neptune City, 07753 New Jersey, United States

The employer has failed to provide the OSHA 300 log to the Union after repeated requests. The employer is not providing training to their employees on how to conduct seal checks when donning a respirator. Initial fit testing is not being conducted for new employees or when a new model of N95 respirator is provided for use. The employer is providing KN95 masks to employees which are not on the FDA and CDC approval list. KN95 masks that are provided do not provide a seal therefore they do not properly fit the team member. Employees have not been properly trained on how to disinfect personal protective equipment with bleach. Employees working on Mehandro 5 are only provided one disposable gown daily and the gown does not last throughout the shift. Employees are unable to obtain additional gowns when needed.
