Regulatory Report

Covid-19 OSHA Complaint, Illinois Department of Revenue, 101 W Jefferson St, Springfield, IL 62702, USA

5 years ago business

101 West Jefferson Street, Springfield, 62702 Illinois, United States

1. Individual Processing Division (IPD) is currently working with full staff, which means there are approx. 90 people working together in one area. 2. No disinfectants have been provided to employees in IPD for proper cleaning of personal and shared areas within the department. 3. No health screenings are being done upon entry of the building. Security guards are to visually assess if someone needs to go home. Sometimes they are preoccupied so they are not assessing anyone during those times. 4. People who do not have to wear masks due to medical reasons, are not being made to keep their appropriate distance away from others. 5. Busy walk ways are not 6 feet from employee work spaces and no additional steps are being taken to keep employees safe. 6. People exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 are not made to leave the workplace. 7. Workstations are not being disinfected at the start or at the end of the day. 8. Cleaning solution provided (Green Works) does not kill germs or bacteria. It is a generic cleaning solution to wipe away dirt. 9. Possible positive COVID-19 case. Employees were sent home early so the employer could clean/disinfect and employees were told to return to work the next day which is not enough time to clean the entire area.
