1. The employer is not taking precautions to protect employees from coronavirus/covid-19 exposure.2. At any given time, there are hundreds of customers in the store, and nothing is being done to ensure social distancing (6 feet minimum) is maintained among customers and employees. Customers and employees are constantly bumping into each other and are in very close proximity, particularly due to the product displays, shelving, etc. being close together.
3. Management refuses to limit the number of shoppers permitted in the store at any given time.
4. Employees are concerned that the situation will become significantly worse in the first days of April when many customers receive their government assistance.
5. Management has been severely limiting access to latex gloves over the last several weeks. Gloves only last a few hours, and employees are not able to get more when needed.
