No testing available for my son, but he developed covid-19 symptoms. High fever on 3/2 of 101 which then went high to 103 for several days. His throat was very sore to a point he could barely speak. Tested negative for strep and flu (tested twice). Chills followed, no appetite, no taste or smell, cough. Fever and chills few days, fever lasted a week. Was treated by his physician with antibiotics which didn't seem to help much. Given Theraflu every 4 hrs for symptoms and fever, but did not help much, except with the cough. Didn't get better until 2 wks from his first day with fever, still with the cough which is getting better just now, 4/1. No tests available for children at the time, even though he had lots of symptoms.
