Bed Bath and Beyond advertised on Facebook -- didn't notice it took me to www.welliur.com/ Bought lots of DVD box-sets and great prices. Posted the link on Facebook and somebody told me it was a fake site. When I didn't get an immediate email confirming the sale, that was my first clue. Called my credit card company and they said they'll remove the charge after it's posted to my account. It was such a detailed site -- never got fooled before in all my years on the internet!

The same thing happened to me today. I'm in the process of trying to rectify it!
I also bought several DVD "complete series" from welliur... i actually did get a confirmation email immediately after the order went thru. But a friend of mine informed me that it was a scam site, so i'm getting with my credit card company to reverse the charge and have a new card issued.
I also let myself get ripped off by this Hong Kong scam a couple of days ago; two orders totaling about $115 for about 30 book & DVD box sets. Hopefully this will teach me the lesson—again—that if something sounds too good to be true then it usually is.
