Nutraition offered a Plasma torch lighter that requires no gas, but instead, uses electricity to generate an extremely hot flame. The lighter is recharged via a USB port offering 300 operations per charge. I paid for five lighters via my Debit Card as the price of each lighter is reduced for purchasing multiple lighters. It took more than two weeks for Nutraition to send me five Butane lighters instead of Plasma lighters. Subsequent investigation revealed Nutraition has violated Commercial Code Laws, in the past. Internet fraud, Banking fraud, Interstate fraud, and Postal fraud are also relevant in this situation. Although the amount of money involved is miniscule, the principles of Commerce and business integrity is at stake. In an Email from Nutraition I was accused of not accepting My order! It was not my order, but was instead a "Bait and Switch" con! I do not want to return the butane lighters until I am certain my $129.94 is returned. I should not have to pay for postage or spend my valuable time covering up their Crime. Nutraition offered to return a partial payment to me, but that is unacceptable as I have no desire to own five Butane lighters. I am a former Law Enforcement officer and I despise criminal behavior on every level. I have offered to return the items when Nutraition has compensated me for my purchase price and postage for the return. My integrity will be revealed as stated in email to Nutraition after I am reimbursed. The products are unused and unwanted by myself. If Nutraition sees the light and does the right thing, I will not pursue prosecution for fraud. But there should be a record of the incident for other unsuspecting buyers in the future to observe.
