The temporary water shut off applies to the St. Martin Water Works District No. 4 -Catahoula customers. A boil advisory will go into effect after repairs are done. The shut off is due to necessary repairs that are expected to take two to four hours to finish.
Some Eupora community members will need to boil their water before consuming it. The boil notice is for people who live south of Roane Avenue. The notice will be in effect until further notice.

Residents across a large area of southern Lancaster County lost power following the second wave of thunderstorms that moved through the area overnight. According to Norris Public Power, nearly 700 customers were without electricity as of 2 a.m. Friday morning, April 26th. The outage was south of
the Highway 77 and Highway 2 interchange, specifically centered west of Roca, near Sprague and Martell. Initially, the outage was only impacting around 200 people, but increase over time up through 2 a.m.
