More than 6,500 customers in St. Clair County and more than 1,700 in Sanilac County remained without power Thursday afternoon after a line of storms downed trees and power lines Wednesday night.As of about 1 p.m. Thursday, county outages are concentrated in Kimball, Wales, Riley and Emmett townships, and in Marysville. Scattered outages are in Port Huron and Port Huron Township, according to the DTE outage map.
In Sanilac County, the DTE map showed power outages concentrated around Port Sanilac. However, Port Sanilac Fire Capt. Brian Moran said power had been restored for those in and around the town.
