Over 1400 Appalachian Power customers are without power Wednesday in Lynchburg. One outage area is affecting 1,380 customers in the area around Lynchburg General Hospital. The other smaller area of 70 customers is just off of Rivermont Avenue. Both outages are listed as having started at 10:18 a.m. but it could still be hours before the lights are back on, AEP also says the estimated restoration for both areas is 3:30 p.m.Outage link: www.appalachianpower.com/outages/
