During the COVID-19 Pandemic, The office for the Transport team has been crowded with employees, some not wearing mask and exposing others to the virus. Management was notified multiple times and said the team was fine and did not have to worry about anything. A few weeks

ago over half the team contracted the virus and have been out of work. Management was again notified of the over crowding issue and still has not developed a plan to fix the problem. The break room is also the office/charting room which is also the access center where incoming phone calls are answered. This space is approximately 350 sqft and usually has 7 people or more in it. You are unable to social distance and the ventilation system is almost non existent. Management stated this week that they don't have anywhere for us to spread out and social distance at this time. There are now employees coming back, who had COVID-19 stating that they are invincible and not being as cautious with wearing mask and exposing those who have not contracted the virus. SSM has allowed employees back without a Neg test and some are still coughing constantly around other employees and patients. Management did provide a temporary room for employees to social distance in for approximately 2-3 weeks but has taken it away. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Hazard Location: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Transport Office 5th Floor of Main Hospital.
