1. Employees were required to read the employers COVID-19 Exposure Prevention Program and sign a document in acknowledgement. In the program it states all employees must wear a facial covering or mask at all times in the workplace. Management is not enforcing this policy as only approximately
40% of employees wear face coverings. This is most prevalent on the night shift. In addition, delivery drivers who come in to contact with store employees are not wearing face coverings or masks. Many of the delivery drivers are from out of state or are Safeway employees from the warehouse.
2. Social distancing protocols are not being maintained or enforced. Employees working without face coverings are working within 6 feet of each other.
