There have been multiple exposures and cases in our district. Complainant knows of 2 teachers on the same middle school team that has tested positive, but staff and parents have not been informed. One parent who is also a staff member went and questioned administration and the
district nurse replied that his daughter (even though she has both teachers) was not in contact with the positive teachers. His daughter is in person in their classrooms the days before they went and got tested, so they could have been asymptomatic or even positive before even being tested. The administration told him that his daughter was not around the teacher long enough to be considered close contact. Other teachers have been around the two people, but because they were not around them for longer than 15 minutes in a 24 hour period they were told they did not have to be informed. Multiple students in and out of classrooms and multiple teachers needing to cover the classes since we are not able to get a sub or they combine the classes into one class to have coverage The district is in a red county, so the school is still holding hybrid in person learning with numbers steadily going up. Employees keep being told that schools are doing a good job of keeping it out of schools. Employees have to rely on parents to inform the district if their child has been in contact or testing positive. These are the same parents who give their child medication to bring the fevers down so they can still send their child to school.

School district not taking temperatures appropriately each day. The thermometers used to take student and faculty temperatures do not give an accurate reading. Many times the reading says 'low' because of the cooler temperatures outside. Students and faculty are still permitted in the building without getting an
accurate reading. Students are not socially distanced. Classrooms are not large enough to place students 6 feet apart. Markers are placed in the hallway 2ft apart, rather than the recommended 6ft apart. Also, students are not properly spaced apart in the cafeteria, when their masks are off. Non compliance with red county recommendations. Despite being in a county that has had some of the highest case numbers in recent weeks, the district has not gone virtual.

Global Mix, Inc. of New York, is recalling tejocote products to include the following brands: Eva Nutrition, Science of Alpha, Niwali, NWL Nutra. The recalled products are labeled as tejocote root but are toxic yellow oleander. The recalled products were distributed in the following states: AL, AK,
CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IA, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NM, NC, NY, NJ, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY through website. The recalled products were also sold via the below websites via courier direct delivery and mail order. Etsy, amazon, eva-nutrition, tejocotemexican, niwali, scienceofalpha. The recalling firm has not received any reported of illness.
