The Federal Trade Commission reported that the number of complaints about scams involving ads on Facebook and other social media has more than tripled in the past year. A recent Reuters investigation revealed that Meta projected it would earn approximately $16 billion from advertising for scams and banned goods. Facebook exposes users to an estimated 15 billion fraudulent ads daily.

I ordered a lapt computer from a ite on Facebook for $39.98, I knew it was too goo d to be true, but the site looked legit and it was on Facebook. So I ordered it anyway and today I received te pen as described here. It was a scam.. I’m in Illinois
