Lily’s Kitchen is recalling a batch of its Fishy Fish Pie and a batch of Chicken and Turkey Casserole because they may contain pieces of plastic. The possible presence of plastic makes the products unsafe to eat for your pets and presents a potential choking hazard. These products were sold by Pets at Home in the United Kingdom.
The recalled products are:
- Lily’s Kitchen Fishy Fish Pie (400g (Grain Free Wet Adult Dog Food Multipack 24 x 400g cans)), Batch code 1028F, Best before 01 September 2024
- Lily’s Kitchen Chicken & Turkey Casserole (400g (Classic Wet Adult Dog Food Multipack 24 x 400g cans)), Batch code 1032F, Best before 01 September 2024
Pet owners who have bought the affected products, do not feed them to your pets. Instead, contact Lily’s Kitchen for a full refund, with or without a receipt and they will arrange collection of the items from you.

These batches are in addition to the BANAMINE® / BANAMINE®-S recall of three batches dated Sept. 1, 2023 due to the presence of particulate matter. The lot number (LOT) and expiry date (EXP) is located in the bottom right portion of the bottle label.
The administration of an injectable product that contains particulate matter may result in local irritation, swelling or infection in response to the foreign material. After intravenous administration in large animals, such as cattle or horses, particulate matter could travel to the lungs which could result in local tissue damage.
Flunixin meglumine is a potent, non-narcotic, nonsteroidal, analgesic agent with anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activity. It is approved in the US only for intravenous use in beef and dairy cattle, for intravenous and intramuscular use in horses and for intramuscular use in swine.
Customers who have received BANAMINE® and BANAMINE®-S from the batches being recalled should stop using the products and refer to their recall letter for product return instructions. Merck Animal Health is working with its distributor partners to ensure that unused product is no longer in distribution or with customers. They are notifying their distributors and customers directly and are arranging for the return of all recalled products. Customers who may need to arrange return of product should contact their point of purchase.

See More review of manufacturing equipment and cleaning activities at a supplier, SCYNEXIS was made aware of potential cross-contamination risk with a non-antibacterial beta-lactam drug substance. To date, SCYNEXIS has not received any reports of adverse events established to be due to the possible beta-lactam cross contamination.
Risk Statement: The potential cross contamination with a non-antibacterial beta-lactam drug substance could lead to hypersensitivity reactions such as swelling, rash, urticaria and anaphylaxis, a potentially life-threatening adverse reaction.
BREXAFEMME® is an antifungal product indicated for the treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) and the reduction of the incidence of recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis (RVVC).
BREXAFEMME® is dispensed in a carton and packaged in blister packs with four 150-mg tablets (NDC 75788-115-04). BREXAFEMME® tablet for oral administration is a purple, oval, biconvex shaped, film-coated tablet debossed with 150 on one side and SCY on the other side. The affected BREXAFEMME® lots include the following lots and expiration dates: LF21000008 (expiration date 11/2023) and LF22000051 (expiration date 11/2025). The recalled lots were distributed nationwide to wholesalers across the US, beginning in December 2022.
SCYNEXIS is engaging with Sedgwick to manage the recall of the product down to the consumer level. Sedgwick will be notifying BREXAFEMME® distributors via a recall notification letter and will be arranging for the return of the recalled lot from distributors, retailers, and consumers.
