The Washington Fire Department was busy with firefighters on Thursday afternoon in Tuolumne County, just west of Sonora in Jamestown. Anxious homeowners saw a wildfire dangerously approaching the gateway to Route 108. As of Friday morning, the fire was 10% contained and burned over 81 acres. Power outage It was also reported in this area.
