I went to Dellapietras to purchase some fresh sliced ham. When the butcher was slicing my ham, I noticed that he did not change his glove after he handled fresh food for the customer before me. Then after he touched the meat and manually hand sliced the ham, he asked for payment and kept the same gloves on, as he touched my credit card and processed my payment. After the transaction he started helping a new customer, and continued using the same gloves that touched my credit card, the credit card machine, the receipt machine and the meat. I found it very disgusting, and a huge lack of hygiene. When I got home, I called the store and asked to speak to the owner or manager to report what happened. However the person who I spoke to, I believe it was the owner, was very impatient, did not apologize and just said "don't worry about it, I will let him know". From his words and attitude, I do not think he took it seriously at all.
