1. Employees are non-compliant in the building when it comes to masks and are sometimes not social distancing. Masks are not being worn in the work areas. Some employees have to sit in the office for sometimes up to 16 hours with a mask on. 2. Employees all share desks which are not being cleaned properly. 3. At the beginning of the pandemic most employees were sent home to work. But when others started to complain that they didn't feel safe and wanted to work from home, management, after a year, demanded that all employees now rotate in and out the office. The non-union call center employees were sent home as well. These employees work under a different department and management. Because employees are union, the Covid Preparedness and Readiness handbook doesn't apply per management and labor relations. Michigan Medicine had emails going out, stating that anyone who can work from home do so and if one is currently working from home, this date has been extended to September 2021.
