1) Children's section of inpatient behavioral health hospital was converted to an adult Covid section. The hospital did not train or communicate the Covid 19 program with affected workers. 2) Workers in the Covid section do not have an appropriate area to don and doff their required PPE. Workers wearing PPE (gowns, eye protection, N95s, etc.) travel from the Covid section into the adjacent non-Covid section. 3) Negative pressure ventilation is not available to prevent Covid aerosols from migrating into areas adjacent to the Covid section. 4) Workers were required to work in the Covid section and the wear N95 filtering facepiece respirators without the opportunity to be clean shaven. Employee(s) with full beards were wearing respirators. 5) Temporary hospital staff were required to wear N95 respirators without fit testing. 6) Cleaning and sanitation procedures were not put into place for areas adjacent to the Covid section.
