The Employer is not enforcing employee use of personal protective equipment in areas where the equipment is required, such as hard hats and closed-toed shoes. The Employer is not taking measures to protect employees from exposure to the COVID-19 virus, as follows: - The Employer is not enforcing the use of protective masks in office areas. - The Employer is not screening employees for signs of symptoms of the COVID-19 virus. - For employees who report having a fever, the Employer is not having these employees quarantine for 14 days. - The Employer is not disinfecting common areas in the office. - The Employer did not notify the employees that they were working with a co-worker who was exposed to another employee who tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, and the Employer did not quarantine, test or screen the exposed employee for the virus. - The Employer holds employee meetings in small quarters where employees are unable to maintain at least a distance of 6-feet apart from one another, and the Employer does not enforce employees use of face coverings during the meetings. Complainant notes: - Fire codes deliberately not followed.
