The Employer is not enforcing social distancing so that employees stay at least six-feet apart to reduce their potential exposure to the COVID-19 virus inside the building, including the lobby area. The indoor temperature in the lobby area can become excessively hot, over 120 Degrees fahrenheit. The Employer does not provide air conditioning in the lobby area where employees work and take breaks. The temperature at this location has become excessively hot, for instance it was 120 degrees fahrenheit this past weekend. California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 3395. Heat Illness Prevention in Outdoor Places of Employment. The Employer does not provide Delivery employees who work outdoors with Heat Illness Prevention training. California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 3364(b). Sanitary Facilities. There is no toilet facility available for employees to use inside the building. Employees must use a restroom in an adjacent building, however the restroom is not readily available for employees to use as they need to wait for someone to give them access to the building and have their temperatures taken prior to entering the building. Complainant notes: EE notified ER about the following complaints. However ER has not taken action to improve EEs, working conditions. -ER did not provide EE with contact information for ERs Corporate Office. -Lobby area that EEs use as a break room has no AC. The temperature in this area was over 120 degrees F this past weekend (Management work in another area of the building that is cooled by AC). This area is so hot it is not even fit for an animal. ER knew record heat was predicted, but ER did not do anything to protect EEs. -No bathroom located inside the building. EEs must use the bathroom next-door, where they need to first knock, wait for someone to open the door, get their temperature taken. Some EEs have had bathroom accidents due to the wait time. -Drivers use their own vehicles with AC to make deliveries -ER did not provide Drivers training on working in excessive heat conditions and how to survive in 120 degree heat. -No social distancing between EEs in the Lobby/break area. Drivers come and go in this area all day - no room to social distance 6-feet apart. EE asked for additional information on the following: -Is ER criminally responsible for making EEs work in excessive heat? -Who to contact re: ER has no policy re: handing vehicle accidents with the company. EE quoted CLC Section 2802, ER is responsible for EEs, out-of-pocket expenses. They have done nothing here.

When I tried to contact customer service, several times, they do not even reply! They will send you a confirmation email saying a ticket has been opened but then you hear NOTHING. I'm furious because this is being presented on many levels as a supposed way to earn extra cash, even on articles about retired ways to earn money.
THIS IS A SCAM! They will get you to spend money to play the games thinking that you will earn more than you spend but you will NOT and NO ONE will answer questions at all.

When I opened the first lighter, it flickered and then lit. When I tried to operate the other 4 lighters, none of them worked. Went back to the first lighter, and it.would not re-light. Plus the lighter boxes are very hard to open,,one of the box lids tore at the top. What do you suggest?

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) has issued an alert regarding a potential botulism outbreak linked to possibly counterfeit Botox injections. The alert follows the hospitalization of two individuals in LaSalle County who exhibited symptoms similar to botulism after receiving the injections. The issue came to … See More

The IDPH, in collaboration with the LaSalle County Health Department and the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (IDFPR), is currently investigating the matter. A similar cluster of cases was also reported by the Tennessee Department of Health, prompting the IDPH to liaise with the CDC and FDA for further investigation.

The product in question is either Botox or a possibly counterfeit version of the product, and it was administered by a licensed nurse in LaSalle County who was performing work outside her authority. The two affected individuals reported symptoms such as blurred/double vision, droopy face, fatigue, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, and hoarse voice following the injection. Both required hospitalization post-treatment.

People are advised not to use these botox injections. In Illinois, the injection of botulinum toxin, the key ingredient in Botox, is a practice of medicine that may only be performed by certain licensed professionals who are licensed and regulated by IDFPR. Cosmetologists and estheticians are prohibited from performing this practice under their licenses.

Botulism is a serious illness caused by a toxin produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacteria. This toxin is one of the most potent neurotoxins known and can cause muscle paralysis. The disease can manifest in three forms: foodborne botulism, wound botulism, and infant botulism. Foodborne botulism, which is the focus here, occurs when food contaminated with the bacteria is consumed. Symptoms can include difficulty swallowing or speaking, facial weakness, and paralysis. In severe cases, it can be fatal, particularly if it affects the respiratory muscles.

If you or a loved one are harmed or experiencing any symptoms, it is important to report it. Reporting can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.

On Feb. 9, 2024, I ordered 2 Inspire My Play Trays from what looked to be a legitimate online shop with an address in Manhattan, KS. There were red flags:
1. At top of webpage, was a Child R - Child Related logo.
2. No phone number … See More

3. confirmation email had a no reply sender as: noreplymail @feinschstores. com and a contact email of: stevenbriesing @hotmail. com
4. I had no reply to an inquiry about the order to stevenbriesing @hotmail. com
5. I received an email with a tracking number for Chinese shipping.

I was charged $97.11 by AQR littlemall Mong Kok, HK. I received a package on 3/1/2024 with a pendant necklace having a customs label value of $10. The return "address/phone" on the customs label was: HD GZL 7 Demaozhuang , Daxing District. Beijing, Beijing, Beijing 100000 China Phone: 8618800000000
I filed a dispute with Costo Citibank and sent documentation with the various names from the website, emails, tracking page and shipping label.
I was contacted by Costco Citibank asking for proof of returned item or reason for not returning. I had no way of knowing who to return this item to. I don't speak Mandarin/Chinese so have no way of verifying via phone call the identity of who I'd be talking to and whether they were part of this order.
I found out after the fact, that the Manhattan, Kansas address was a real building, but the Kansas Better Business Bureau had tagged it as being associated with a variety of scam businesses.
Costco Citibank denied my dispute on April 1, 2024, so I am responsible for paying the $97.11 for this pendant that I did not order.
I should have refused the delivery of the package, but it had been delivered to my mailbox.
In my opinion, by accepting the item, this gives credit card companies a way to hold you responsible for the charges. In their dispute forms, you are asked if you received merchandise which puts your dispute in a set customer support decision tree, which may or may not fit your exact situation. Even though they are supposed to "investigate", I have no way of knowing to what extent they investigated if at all
