My store management team was notified of 2 positive Covid19 cases on July 17, 2020. They wrote a letter for all departments letting them know on July 22nd, 5 days after they got results. Unacceptable. On July 23rd, I came into work at 5am and noticed the letter was updated to say 3 positive cases. (CCK, Clicklist, and Apparel) Today July 27th, the word around the store was ther is a 4th positive Covid case (2nd case in Clicklist). How is it already around the whole store and not in the proper documentation from our employer? They have a paper by the time clock that says after you clock in to get your temperature checked in the managers office. There is an abundance of people who bypass this step all together. There is no documentation to say whether or not someone got temp checked. Sometimes people will just take their own temps and that's that. The store is letting customers in without masks on and personally I am not comfortable helping someone without a mask. My ASM told me if I dont feel comfortable then maybe I need to think about taking some time off...... So I have to choose my job or my life? That's not fair! They are not worried about our health and safety! I also feel I am being discriminated against because I dont feel comfortable helping somebody without a mask I can lose my job for refusing service to a customer.zhow is that a fair decision?
