An emergency boil water order has been issued for part of the City of Estevan. This boil water order is issued due to a main water transmission line break in south Estevan and will not be lifted until the water supply is determined to be completely safe. Perkins Street is closed from Fourth Avenue South to First Street A as a result. The Saskatchewan Health Authority, Water Security Agency and the City of Estevan are working together to resolve the problem as quickly as possible and will continue to keep residents advised.
