Hi, thought this might help. One of my family members also received a gra moissanite ring yesterday. After a day of research I've found that this is a part of the "brushing" scam. This is where:
1. The scammer hires a load of people and they look up a bunch of random peoples names and addresses. This is probably just public knowledge that they gather.
2. They then buy products in the victims name with the scammers own money.
3. The scammer ships crap off to the victim/customer
4. The hired workers leave amazing reviews on the website they create and the scammer now has a great reputation for other customers to actually buy their products. their buisnesses will gain more and more customers
5. Once the bad reviews start to come in due to the bad quality of the products, the scammer closes up his fake shop and moves on to step one again with a new product or under a new name.
If you received the ring don't worry, you aren't in any harm, unfortunately this will affect someone else. The ring we received was nothing more than plastic and cheap metal, nothing too expensive like the 1.5K it was shown to be on the website.
Safety Report: I didn't order this, 19799 East 36th Drive, Aurora, CO, USA
