Elevated levels of sodium can cause increased water consumption, reduced feed efficiency, egg production, and growth rate and can be fatal in chickens. Intermittent since early morning. Completely out since early evening. Ice storm is probably the cause. No word on the internet that I can find updating affected residents on anything since this morning. Called elkhorn power and found out power is out until sometime during the next day.
