An area east of Van Dyke Avenue, north of Martin Road in Warren had about 500 outages caused by an equipment problem. Earlier Wednesday, there were several hundred homes and businesses without power in the area south of Hayes Road between Hall Road and 21 Mile Road in Macomb Township due to a traffic crash that took out an utility pole.
