The American Electric Power outage map shows Licking County has most of the power outages in Ohio, with more than 2,256 residents in the dark early this morning. Almost all of the Licking Countians without power are located in an area south of Newark and north of... See More Dorsey Mill Road. There were 2,218 without power in the Licking Township area, according to the AEP map, and 2,256 without power in the county.

On December 28, an electrical power outage in the Bluffton area impacted residents and caused some businesses to close. The outage began around 7:45 p.m. and lasted around three hours. Approximately 1,100 customers were impacted, according to American Electric Power.
