would calm it down enough to tolerate it. A few times I also used anti itch cream as well. I had no idea what had changed in my life to cause this. And it's been almost 2 weeks since I finished my supplement and opened a new one. It wasn't until I went to buy another one for next month that I found out that they had been recalled for mold which I have a very bad allergy to so it now makes perfect sense as to why I was having this reaction. edema of the left hand which returned and spread on day 8, then caused an unexpected reaction to routine spinal injections administered on day 12. I was advised it would be safe since the injections are nonsteroidal. Safe perhaps, but on the affected side of my body, all the sites swelled up like mosquito bites. In 12 years this had never happened! For an entire day it was very painful to the touch, couldn't sit back or lay on it without agony, and the swelling lasted over a week. No doctor visit by choice.

I spoke at great length to the vaccinator about these issues and also the eye floaters from dose 1, and was assured that while a reaction like mine is normal, it is on the rare side. My concerns were adequately addressed, good advice was given, and we did choose the other arm.

Injection was as painless as they come, and the visual disturbance was this time reduced on the way home.

post 2 hours: exhaustion

post 7 hours: Sweating and fever erupted lasting through a nearly sleepless night, leading to a sour stomach but the ride was over and everything back to normal post 18 hours. No crazy swelling thus far! Only one recovery day should be needed in my opinion.

as was mine. His fatigue only lasted a day or so. I am still feeling fatigue 10 days since my 2nd shot. Arm soreness gone after 2nd day. Along with the fatigue and weakness I’ve had some headaches, hot flashes, sweats, fever-type symptoms. Have repeatedly taken my temperature, but don’t actually have a fever!!! It’s very weird! For the shot 5 March—today is the 15th—it’s the first day I’ve had much energy and not as many other symptoms, but I ran out of energy by dinner time and got flushed in the face and warm after dinner. My 88 year old Mom had no reactions to either dose of Pfizer!

I had issues with the 2-part shingles vaccine (flu-like symptoms, aches, chills, fever, etc.). I’ve also had an allergic reaction to methylprednisolone (steroid), and a couple of antibiotics (Ceclor & Cipro). minutes after the shot - my lips got enormously swollen, swelling tongue and severe pins and needles, rapid heartbeat. I had an emergency kit with me and used it, then drove to the ER, about 30-35 minutes after shot. I was observed. Got home, went to bed - woke up about 12 hours after shot with severe chest pain and axillary pain. I used an ice pack which helped. I continued with Benadryl and a dose-pack of steroids. I went to the ER and was treated with Prednisone, Pepcid, and Benadryl. After 3 hours I was released with a prescription for Prednisone.
By Saturday morning the same effects were repeating themselves to an increased degree, as well as a hoarseness when I spoke. I went to an urgent care clinic, since the hospital had told me to see my doctor, who wasn’t available on Saturday.
I was put on a combination of Famotidine, Hydroxyzine HCL, and Zyrtec for 7 days. As the swelling and itching have been decreasing, I have been able to reduce the medications.  | Symptoms: Allergic Reaction, Swelling, Itching
