Sequel Naturals, ULC has issued a recall for its Vega brand Organic Protein + SupergreensTM Vanilla Flavoured Drink Mix due to the presence of pieces of plastic. The product was distributed online and sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec in Canada.The recalled product is:
- The Vega Organic Protein + SupergreensTM Vanilla Flavoured Drink Mix
- Available in 2 kg packages.
- It can be identified by UPC 8 38766 10100 2
- Includes the following lot numbers
- Best-before dates:
LOT 2025-08720N BB: 2027/AL/25
LOT 2025-08721N BB: 2027/MA/01
LOT 2025-09124N BB: 2026/AU/22
LOT 2025-09127N BB: 2026/AU/22.
The issue was discovered during a routine inspection, and the recall was classified as Class 3. The recall was initiated on July 9, 2025, as published by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
