Now Foods has announced a recall of its Nutritional Yeast Powder due to mislabeling, as regular yeast was inadvertently packaged as nutritional yeast. The affected product was distributed nationwide in the USA, as well as in the Czech Republic, Hong Kong, UAE, and Ukraine. The issue was discovered internally by the company, and the recall has been classified as Class III. The recall was voluntarily initiated by Now Foods on May 8, 2025, with the classification date set for June 10, 2025. The recall is currently ongoing.The recalled product is:
- NOW Nutritional Yeast Powder
- With a net weight of 10 oz.
- It carries the UPC code 7 33739 02460 2.
- The recall affects 18,658 units
- With lot numbers 3372888 (Best By 03/2027) and 3320523 (Best By 04/2026).
