Life Magnesium Bisglycinate recalled due to Undeclared Magnesium Oxide, Canada

Shoppers Drug Mart and Loblaw Companies Limited have issued a recall for Life Brand Magnesium Bisglycinate 200mg capsules due to the presence of an undeclared ingredient, Magnesium Oxide. The affected products were distributed across Canada.The recalled product is:
- Life Brand Magnesium Bisglycinate 200mg
- With Natural Product Number (NPN) 80123198.
- It is available in capsule form with a strength of 200mg.
- All lots distributed since July 2023 are included in the recall.
The issue was identified during a review process, leading to a Type III recall initiated on November 12, 2025. The recall was published by Health Canada.
