Thrasio, LLC has announced a recall of Angry Orange Enzyme Stain Removers due to potential bacterial contamination, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The products were distributed nationwide in the United States and Canada through major retailers and online platforms.HAZARD:
The recalled items may be contaminated with bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a microorganism commonly present in the environment, including soil and water. Individuals with compromised immune systems, implanted medical devices, or existing lung conditions may be at increased risk of developing serious infections that could require medical care. Exposure can occur through inhalation, contact with the eyes, or through broken skin. Healthy individuals typically do not experience illness from this bacterium.
AFFECTED PRODUCT:
- Angry Orange Enzyme Stain Removers in Fresh Clean Scent and Orange Twist Scent
- Sold in 24-oz, 32-oz, and 1-gallon sizes.
- The affected products feature orange and white packaging with "Angry Orange" and "Stain & Odor Remover" on the label.
- Some units were sold as a bundle with a UV light that attaches to the spray bottle.
- Approximately 1,500,000 units are being recalled in the U.S., with an additional 43,700 units in Canada.
The issue was identified as a potential health risk for individuals with weakened immune systems or certain medical conditions. The recall was announced on January 22, 2026.
