Power went out in a large portion of Logan this afternoon, closing down the Cache Valley Mall and knocking out traffic lights.

Around 1:30 p.m., lights went out at the mall, Smith's Marketplace and several other stores along the Main Street corridor in Logan.

Rocky Mountain Power's outage map showed 11,317 households without power as of 6:20 a.m. Tuesday.

The outages were located in the Logan, Layton, Ogden and Richfield areas.
