not protected from contamination. Respirators are contaminated with lead. 3. Respirators are not assigned or identified, and other employees will use their coworker's respirator. 4. Employees are not provided with adequate training on respiratory protection. Hearing Protection 5. Employees are asked to remove their ear plugs in areas with high noise exposures to hear their co-workers. 6. Employees are required to reuse old, dirty earplugs for an entire week before getting a new pair., 7. The bell in the break room to inform that break time is over is too loud. Lead Contamination 8. Employees are not properly informed when they have elevated blood lead levels. Blood lead level results are posted in the break room with only the employee's birthdate to identify. 9. Employees have excessively high blood lead levels. 10. The entire plant is contaminated with lead. 11. Employees in the Mixing Department are not provided with D-Lead wipes to clean their workspace and equipment. 12. When mixing pasting/lead inside pasting machine dirt, dust, and lead flies into the operator's face. 13. Employees are allowed to bring their contaminated PPE into the break room. COVID-19 14. Employees are not protected from potential exposure to COVID-19. The time clocks, breakrooms, locker rooms, bathrooms, and shower rooms are not disinfected. 15. Recommendations regarding social distancing are not being followed, no social distancing in the break room. Employees are required to change clothes and shower at the same time preventing social distancing. 16. No temperature check on any shifts including days and nights for COVID-19. PPE 17. Employees are not provided with proper PPE. 18. Employees are not provided with training on how to wear protective clothing or PPE. 19. Employees are not provided with proper gloves to handle or work with liquid lead at the Holding Pot and Melting Pot. The gloves that are provided are too long and saggy making it difficult to grip or handle anything. The gloves have holes inside of them. 20. PPE is limited and shared in the WCRS Department. PPE is used by other departments so that it is not available when an operator needs PPE. 21. Operators throw solid lead into a melting pot or holding pot causing the liquid lead to splash. The splash of liquid lead does under the operator's face shield burning their face and head. 22. Not all employees have rubber boots in the pasting department; water gets into and on employee's shoes and clothing. 23. Employees are required to walk through the plant to access their PPE and respirator or mask. Employees are not protected from breathing in lead when walking to their PPE. Environmental Conditions 24. There is no hot water to take mandatory showers. 25. The bathrooms do not have towels to dry off after taking mandatory shower. 26. There are not paper towels in the break rooms to dry hands. 27. The employer doesn't provide rags or towels for employees to use to do their job, wipe up their areas, or wipe their sweat. 28. There are no nursing or 1st aid staff available to care for injured employees. No Jurisdiction 29. Employees personal belongings are being stolen out of their lockers. The employer is aware of this but does nothing to prevent it. 30. Employees are required to work on swing shifts resulting in the employees being exhausted. 31. Employees are encouraged to clock out before reporting work related injuries. Employees are not given access to proper workman's compensation physicians after a work injury. 32. There are no safety or human resources personnel on the night shift. 33. I feel I am over exposed to lead. I work in the WCRS and Pasting department. In the Robotic area
