Power has been restored to most customers in the Miami Valley after severe storms hit the area Monday afternoon. At the height of the outages nearly 5,000 people did not have power, according to AES, Duke and Ohio Edison outage maps.

As of 5:39 a.m. on Thursday, 11 AES Ohio customers were out of power. At the height of the outages, close to 3,000 people were without power. A significant number of the outages were in the Tipp City and Troy areas in Miami County.
