More than 1,600 AES Ohio customers were without power Thursday night, according to the utility’s online outage map. At 10:15 p.m., the map showed an estimated 1,667 customers without power. Outages were first reported just after 9:30 p.m., according to the online map.

As of 1:10 p.m., 2,891 AES customers were without power in Greene County. Upwards of 5,500 customers were without power at one point during the outage. A spokesperson for AES Ohio said there was a lockout in the Beavercreek area, which resulted in the outage.
