A boil water advisory has been issued for parts of Troy affected by the large water main break in Lansingburgh. The advisory affects the “Low Service Area,” including Lansingbugh, Pleasandale, North Central, downtown and the South Troy neighborhoods.

Hundreds of people lost power in Troy on July 29, according to National Grid’s outage map. Just under 1,000 customers were reportedly effected. The cause of the outage remains unknown. Estimated restoration times are currently between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
