The city of Saratoga Springs has lifted a boil water advisory that had been in place since a water main break this weekend. The city says testing for bacteria was completed following the water main break on Excelsior Avenue. The break has been repaired.

More than 10,000 households are without power late Wednesday after severe thunderstorms ripped through the region.

National Grid's outage map revealed 12,256 Capital Region customers remained affected around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

An additional 2,247 customers have been affected in the Saratoga Springs area.
