Friday afternoon Cresci Boulevard had to be closed for a car accident that brought down a live electrical wire, police said. As of 7:30 pm. Friday, about 567 customers were still without power after the incident, according to a JCP&L online outage site.

The JCP&L outage map showed outages in Holmdel and Hazlet, with Marlboro, Freehold and Howell hit hardest, JCP&L said Monday, Dec 18th, that there were 11,000 customers without power in the entire county.
