A power outage started at around 8 a.m. north of Dayton at Six Mile Canyon Road and US-50 and affected about 3,024 residents. According to NV Energy's outage map, the outage is under investigation. Power was restored to the area as of 10:30 a.m.

before me cut the lock off his water and turned his water back on and then we moved in and then the following day or day after they came and took the whole unit and then put the bill on me when I wasn't on the payments I didn't have nothing to do with the water company or them at that time and they made me pay the $600 before they would turn my water on even though it wasn't my problem and once I paid that then I didn't get a bill for till the second month and then I went to go pay it and they refused to take my payment and then shut my services off and when the lady up front told me this she smiled and I have had a problem with her from the get she's the one that made it an issue and put the initial water bill on me and I am just the tenant I had nothing to do with the water bill at first but she made sure that I got stuck with it I had to pay it and then turn around and shut my water back off 2 months later and tells me I owe them400 dollars
