Consumers Energy has reported that most of its Grand Ledge customers have power again, following a power outage earlier on Thursday morning. Around 4,500 Consumers Energy customers in Grand Ledge experienced power outages starting about 8 a.m. Thursday morning. Around 10 a.m.

There are guidelines that say a place should be closed for 24 hours and disinfected; this was not done. There is no form of daily health screening nor any return to work policy for employees.

An employee came to work while pending results of a covid test on 10/30/2020. The employee ended up getting a positive test result after the fact that she had worked all day long amongst patients and staff. She was in multiple areas of the building touching food/candy … See More
as well knowing that she had a pending covid test result. The employer did not make the employee stay home. We are told that if we are sick, we must still report to work and monitor symptoms at work. This is negligence on the employer as we could be exposing multiple people if we do have covid unknowingly. The employee who tested positive saw many patients throughout the day as well as staff members. There is a possibility that she may also have traveled to the Coolidge Rd office. Our offices see 100s of patients per day. No temperatures are taken at all for any location.
