The Holyoke Emergency Management Department announced on Facebook, at approximately 9:30 p.m. Wednesday 28th, that Westfield Road in Holyoke is closed on both lanes due to a downed power line. This has resulted in a power outage in the vicinity.

A single car crash has caused a power outage for hundreds of utility customers in Holyoke Friday morning. Holyoke Gas and Electric is reporting some 450 customers without power, located in the Downtown, Flats, South Holyoke, and Springdale neighborhoods.
