Cheap shoddy merchandise. I had ordered a pair of boots. The soles are so thin they won't last a season. Plastic when sold as leather. When I was looking at the boots, I inquired where they were coming from.. The question was avoided and that should have been my red flag.

Strong and severe storms moved through Maine Thursday afternoon and evening, knocking down trees, branches and power lines. As of 6:15 p.m., Central Maine Power reported 11,280 customers without power. More than half were in Cumberland County. York and Oxford counties were also hit hard.

The company warned customers to prepare to lose power as wind gusts increase throughout the morning. Versant Power, which serves northern and eastern Maine, reported 400 outages at 9 a.m.
