According to the Northern Indiana Public Service Company outage map, power outages affected about 5,523 customers in their service area on Tuesday morning, Mar 19. The most impacted areas are Highland with 4016 customers affected, Griffith with 496 customers affected, Munster with 669 customers affected, and Schererville... See More with 312 customers affected. The estimated time for restoration is around 12:30 p.m. CT. for most of the outages. The cause of the outage is not yet determined. Crews are working to restore power to the area.

The medical assistant area is over crowded. 5 people sit in the area less than 6 ft away from each other. There is no shields in between the medical assistant areas. The restaurant is not taking appropriate cautions to protect against COVID-19. Employees are testing positive, but they keep asking positive employees to still come to work due to being "short-staffed." They are not cleaning the restaurant properly either, so they are putting patrons at risk.
