There were about 1,500 customers overall affected in and near Atlanta.
Roughly 300 were without power in the Adams Park neighborhood on the Westside.
Nearly 700 were without power in the area of North Druid Hills.
Another roughly 100 without power in the Morrow area.
About 700 people lost power northeast of Atlanta, mostly east of Dalton.
According to Georgia EMC's outage map as of 8:45 a.m.:
444 outages in metro Atlanta
75 outages in west Georgia
142 outages in north Georgia.
