Lee County Utilities has rescinded a precautionary Boil Water Notice for residences in unincorporated Lee County in neighborhoods off Winkler Road and south of Summerlin Road. This includes:
All of Banyan Bay
All of Catalina Isles
All of Belle Meade
All of Tropical Cove
All of Winkler... Estates
Timber Run Court from 8761 Timber Run Court to the end of the cul-de-sac.

The boil water notice issued on Sunday, September 18th for certain communities East of I-75 is rescinded, effective today at 12:20PM.
Lee County Utilities says 580 homes are under a boil water notice because of a water main break. The homes under the notice are off Winkler Road and south of Summerlin Road. The homes currently do not have water, though workers hope to have everything fixed by... Monday night. However, Lee County says when the water is back on, you'll need to boil your water. The following areas under the notice include: Banyan Bay, Catalina Isles, Belle Meade, Tropical Cove, Winkler Estates and Timber Run Court from 8761 Timber Run Court to the end of the cul-de-sac. Lee County Utilities will keep this notice in effect until bacteriological testing shows the drinking water is safe, which could take anywhere from 2-3 days.

After a power loss at the City of Fort Myers water plant, officials are advising residents to boil water for drinking, cooking, washing dishes, or brushing teeth. According to City Manager Marty Lawing, the boil water notice is for anyone on the city’s water system, not everyone... with a Fort Myers address.
Southwest Florida’s severe weather is causing wind damage in parts of Lee County Tuesday morning, the Eagle Ridge community in south Fort Myers being hit especially hard. Power outages are being reported across the area.
According to South Trail Fire, there is storm damage to multiple buildings... and individual units in the Eagle Ridge community located at 14198 Eagle Ridge Drive. There is also damage on Sweetwater Court in the Briarcliff community. Multiple trees are down at Audubon Apartments at 14179 Georgian Circle in south Fort Myers.
