About 9,000 customers are currently affected by a power outage in unincorporated Santa Cruz County and Scotts Valley on Tuesday. According to PG&E's outage map, currently, 7,744 customers are without power in the Boulder Creek area and 1,143 Scotts Valley customers are also affected.

The Santa Cruz Mountains are checking in with widespread power outages across Felton, Boulder Creek, Ben Lomond and the northwestern edge of Wilder Ranch State Park. Some of which have to do with equipment issues according to PG&E. The Capitola Wharf is without power and it could be for another two days according to PG&E. That outages is impacting just over 1,000 customers.

PG&E said that 2,085 customers are currently without power in Boulder Creek. The power went out around 3:02 pm on Sunday afternoon. There is no estimated time of when the power will be restored.
